Greetings, fellow heroes, scoundrels and villains!

Earlier this week, we introduced the leader options for Eisen and Ussura, and today we’ll introduce the options for Castille and Montaigne!

We’re presenting each faction a choice between three hopeful prospects. Players will take to our official Discord where pthey will vote to eliminate one of the three options. Of the remaining two options, participants at the European Championship at Patriot Games will band together by faction to select who which will take command of their faction!

We’ll share the options for Vodacce soon, during the voting period. Voting will close at 12:00am EST on June 20th.

Castille: Sometimes, even more crime isn’t the answer for the question: “How do we dig ourselves out of this hole?” With El Gato perpetually hunted and Sanjay constantly running from duel to duel, someone has to actually plan, plot and scheme for the long term. It’s officially time to think things through.

“Madre” Delores (Hero):

Madre has been the one constant within the chaos of Castille. Whenever someone was in need of medicine, she used alquimia to brew some. Whenever a child needed a home, she took them in. Whenever someone needed arcane knowledge and answers to esoteric mysteries? She’s the one with an answer. Madre’s primary tools are compassion and wisdom.

Patricia Moustakas (Hero):

Other leaders in Five Sails seek to crush crime or collaborate in corruption.  Patricia is unbothered and unmoved by such passions and vices. Patricia believes in numbers. Patricia believes in the value of mundane, irrefutable truth of math. El Gato’s long career of bamboozling the rest of the City hasn’t touched the peace and order that Patricia keeps on Castille’s docks. She is confident she will see the District flourish through iron clad control of coin.

Damya Kahina (Scoundrel):

Maaaybe Patricia’s control of the Docks isn’t quite that complete. For those who know where to look and who to ask, Damya represents the fastest way to fortune. Maaaybe also the riskiest. Don’t worry about it. Her rumors are all true, her appraisals all honest, and she’d never stoop to cheating at cards. She’s the most honest fence who’s ever lived! Ignore the rumors. Habibi, we are going to be. So. Damn. Rich!

Montaigne: With buckles actively swashling and swords constantly crossing, the Musketeers have the warfront handled. Now that they understand the territory, none can withstand their coordinated assaults. Their only achilles heal is their impeccable honor. And in Five Sails? Being a goody-two-shoes only gets you so far. Any honest man needs a scoundrel to watch their back.

Grand Merchant Anghos (Scoundrel):

As an illustrious merchant, Anghos needs no more fame and already possesses a fortune. The only frontier left for him to conquer are the smoke-filled parlors of the City’s elite, where backroom deals dictate the long-term future of Five sails. Odette is a lady of fine breeding, and has to maintain her dignity. Anghos is free to wheel, deal, insult and threaten.

Horatio Lockwood (Scoundrel):

Horatio’s brush with near death has left him a changed man. Not better, mind you. More paranoid and careful. More highstrung. More absolutely desperate to finally find true love. Thankfully, there’s no kind of creature more clever and resourceful than a scared, desperate and surprisingly handsome rat. Harotio represents the missing piece of Montaigne’s prim and proper puzzle – shamelessness.

Claude de la Roche (Scoundrel):

Being Mayor is reaaaalllly hard. Way too hard. Being impartial is infuriating, thankless and simply makes more enemies than friends. It’s time to leave careful politics behind. If the City of Five Sails won’t supply Claude with a steady supply of adoring fans and steadfast friends, Le’Empruerer certainly will. Odette has promised it will be so! If the world continues to abuse Claude, he stands ready to abuse his newfound power in return.

Stay tuned for our final reveal for Voddace, coming next week!
